The
renew operation is used to renew a domain name. The following guidelines apply to the
renew operation but further documentation is available on our
renewal process:
- The renew operation automatically generates an invoice and this cannot be credited nor can the renew operation be cancelled.
- The earliest a renew operation can be performed on a domain name is six months before the expiry date.
- A renew can be sent after expiry, right up until the domain is actually cancelled.
- A domain can be renewed automatically by setting the 'auto-bill' field.
- The decision on who is billed is determined by the setting of 'first-bill' and 'recur-bill'
Renew domains
- On the start page, click List Domains. This will load the domain list.
- In the domain list, select the domain(s) you wish to renew and click Renew.
(If you click Renew without selecting any domains, a text box appears in which you may enter a line-delimited custom list of domains to renew.) - Verify that the correct domains are selected, then click Renew Domains > to renew the domain(s).
