The
modify operation is used to make changes to the register after the initial registration. This operation can be used to make changes to the domain, account, contact and nameserver
objects in our registry. As such, there are four different ways to use the
modify operation:

Modify Domain
Modify domain is used to make changes to the
fields we store in the domain object, such as 'auto-bill' settings. It can also be used to change the nameservers used with the selected domains. Any changes made using
modify domain will only affect the domains selected.

Modify account
Modify account is used to make changes to the
fields we store in the account object, such as 'opt-out' settings. Any changes made using
modify account will affect all domains merged onto the account.

Modify contact
Modify contact is used to make changes to any of the
fields we store in the contact object, such as 'a1-email'. Any changes made using contact modify will only affect the selected account.

Modify nameserver
The nameserver modify is used to make changes to any of the
fields we store in the nameserver object, such as the host name of a nameserver. Any changes made using a nameserver modify will affect all domains merged onto the nameserver.
Modify Domain
- On the start page, click List Domains. This will load the domain list.
- In the domain list, select the domain(s) you wish to change and click Modify.
(If you click Modify without selecting any domains, a text box appears in which you may enter a line-delimited custom list of domains to modify.)
- Enter the changes you would like to make to the domain(s) and click Continue >.
- Verify that the details of the modification are correct, then click Modify Domains to update the domain(s).
Modify Account
- On the start page, click List Accounts. This will load the account list.
- In the account list, select the account(s) you wish to change and click Modify Account.
(If you click Modify Account without selecting any accounts, a text box appears in which you may enter a line-delimited custom list of ID's of the accounts you wish to modify.)
- Enter the changes you would like to make to the accounts(s) and click Continue >.
- Verify that the details of the modification are correct, then click Modify Account to update the account(s).
Modify Contact
- On the start page, click List Accounts. This will load the account list.
- In the account list, select the account you wish to change and click Modify Contact.
- Make the changes you would like to make to the contacts on the account and click.
Nameserver Modify
- On the start page, click List Namservers. This will load the nameserver list.
- In the nameserver list, select the nameserver(s) you wish to change and click Modify.
(If you click Modify without selecting any nameservers, a text box appears in which you may enter a line-delimited custom list of ID's of the nameservers you wish to modify.)
- Enter the changes you would like to make to the nameservers(s) and click Continue >.
- Verify that the details of the modification are correct, then click Modify Nameserver to update the nameservers(s).
