The
fork operation allows one or more of domain names on an account to be moved to a copy of that account. This operation can be used to unmerge domain names that have been mistakenly merged onto a single account. There are two different ways to use the
fork operation:

Fork domain
This method allows you to select a single domain name and move it to a copy of the original account.

Fork account
This method allows you to select one or more domain names on a single account and move them to a copy of the original account.
To fork domains:
- On the start page, click List Domains. This will load the domain list.
- In the domain list, select the domain name you wish to move to a new account and click Fork.
- Verify that the details for the fork are correct, then click Fork Domain to move the domain name to a copy of the original account.
To fork accounts:
- On the start page, click List Accounts. This will load the account list.
- In the account list, select the account with the domain name(s) you wish to move to a new account and click Fork.
- Select the domain name(s) you wish to move to a new account and click Continue & view summary >.
- Verify that the details for the fork are correct, then click Fork Domain to move the domain name(s) onto a copy of the original account.
