All commands in EPP must be applied to an object. Some commands can be applied to a number of objects, but most only apply to the domain object.
The check command is used to determine if an object can be provisioned within a repository. We do not implement this command for any registry object. Please use the Domain Availability Checker instead.
The create command applies to domain names only. Other objects can generally only be created as part of the domain name creation operation. Contacts can also be created as part of the account update operation.
The delete command applies only to domain names. Contacts, accounts and name server objects cannot be removed directly from the system.
The renew command applies only to domain names. It has no meaning for other object types.
The update command allows a client to modify the attributes of a domain, account, host or contact object.
The info command is used to retrieve information associated with an object. It is equivalent to the query automaton function. The info command is created for all object types - domain names, accounts, contacts and nameservers. There are limits on using this for objects on a different tag, similar to those in the Automaton.
The transfer command applies to domain names only. The effect of a transfer command on a domain name is the same as the automaton RELEASE operation and different from that in many other registries. A domain name transfer may only be requested by the current tag and the new tag must be included in the request.
