Terms and conditions for entrants
NOMINET PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over excluding the promoter, their agencies, employees and also domain name registrars or resellers, and their officers or employees, and also anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
2. Trade participants must have the permission of their employer to participate. If such participants win a prize there may be a tax liability and those concerned should check their own tax position.
3. Participants must have registered a .uk domain name from Nominet UK and completed the registration or renewal of that domain name between midday BST 3 October 2011 and midday GMT 28 November 2011 (the "Competition Period"). Domain name Registrations must have been made in accordance with the promoter's terms and conditions of domain name registration and the details for the participant must match those of the registrant of the domain name referred to in the entry in order for the participant to be eligible to be entered into a prize draw.
4. For the purposes of the promotion, a "Day" is defined as the period from midday on one calendar day to midday the following calendar day.
5. One entry per domain name only. Additional entries beyond the first will be rejected. Each entry must be connected with a .uk domain name that has been registered or renewed during the Competition Period.
6. The promoter cannot guarantee that the systems used by participants to enter the promotion will be available at all times and no guarantee is given in that regard.
7. At the end of the Competition Period, all valid entries will be entered into a draw to win the main prizes. The first three randomly selected entries will each win one pair of tickets to either a finals day at the Wimbledon Championships, the West End theatre experience or a Six Nations Championship match. The promoter shall, at its sole discretion, determine the nature of the tickets and which tickets are awarded to which winner.
8. There is a runner-up prize of ticketmaster vouchers each Day. The draws for each of the seven daily prizes in a week (from midday on one Monday to midday on the following Monday) will be held on the Friday following the end of each week. Participants who have won one of the daily prizes will not be eligible to win one of the main prizes at the end of the Competition Period.
9. The appropriate daily prize draw for an entry will be determined by reference to the time and date on which the participant registered for the promotion on the promoter's systems.
10. Entries that are received by the promoter after the close of the Competition Period will not be eligible for a prize.
11. The first prize draws will be held on 14 October 2011 and the last prize draws will be held on 9 December 2011
12. Prizes are not transferable and there are no cash alternatives in whole or in part. The promoter may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes for alternate prizes of an equivalent value.
13. By submitting an entry to this promotion, participants consent to the promoter processing their personal data for the purposes of carrying out the prize draw and notifying and advertising the winners. The details of all entries will be held by the promoter's agent, Banner Corporation PLC, which will process the data solely as directed by the promoter.
14. The promoter will determine the winner(s) by randomly selecting them from amongst the valid entries. The promoter shall, at its sole discretion, determine whether an entry is valid.
15. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners’ names, counties and domain names, along with details of the registrars used to register the domain names, will be published online at http://www.nominet.org.uk/registrars/registrarresources/prizedraw/ as soon as possible after each draw. By submitting an entry to this promotion, participants consent to the promoter publishing those details on the website and in press releases or other promotional material produced by the promoter for up to two months after the final draw is completed.
16. The winners will be notified by email following each draw to the email address submitted by the entrant. Prizes will be sent by post to the address provided by an entrant when entering the draw. Entrants must ensure that the correct postal address is given and no liability will be accepted for any lost or delayed prizes.
17. The promoter does not accept any liability for lost or delayed entries, howsoever caused.
18. The promoter and the promoter's agent will process personal data received in conformity with the 1998 Data Protection Act and in accordance with the company's privacy policy which can be accessed at www.nominet.org.uk/privacypolicy/.
