If a domain name is registered to a deceased individual you will need to arrange for the domain name to be transferred to another party.  To complete this process you will need to request a transfer form from us.

The executor of the deceased's estate will need to complete the transfer form and supply a copy of the death certificate.  The new registrant must also complete the transfer form and supply the relevant accompanying documentation.  This will either be a confirmatory letter on company letterhead for a company or a copy of a utility bill (no older than 6 months) or a copy of a driving licence for an individual.

When we have been informed that a registrant is deceased you will have one year to complete the transfer of registration.  If the domain name is not transferred within that time it will be cancelled and available to be registered by someone else.

There is an administration fee of £10 + VAT for this service.  Please note that we reserve the right not to transfer a domain name if the form is filled out by the wrong party and any fees paid are non-refundable.
