Before starting this application, please be aware that this is an electronic process, once the registrant transfer has been submitted the transfer can be processed very quickly (depending on the new registrant's actions). Please do not proceed with the transfer unless you are absolutely sure this is what you would like to do.

Firstly you will need to log into your Online Services account, and select the 'Registrant Transfer' tab, located under 'Your Domains' tab.

You will be asked to select the domain names you wish to transfer. If not all of the domain names are in this account you may need to use our merge service first. Once you have chosen the required domain names, you will be asked to provide the email address of the new registrant. It is very important that this is correct. If you have any doubts about the email address, please clarify this with the new registrant before continuing, as this is email address we will use to contact them.

Once you have completed the new registrant details and selected your payment options, your part of the transfer process is complete. You will receive email confirmation that the transfer process has been started and confirmation of payment if appropriate.

The new registrant will receive an email to ask them to complete their part of the transfer process. The new registrant can either accept or decline the transfer, however for security reasons this email is only active for 5 days. If no action is taken the transfer will be timed out, and will need to be started again by the current registrant. If payment has been made this will also be refunded.

The new registrant will receive an email containing a link to log in to Online Services if they wish to accept the domain names. The new registrant will need to either add the newly received domain names to an existing account or create a new account, selecting the registrar with whom the domain name will be associated. If the new registrant is paying for the transfer, they will be prompted for this payment.

Once the process is completed both parties will receive an email confirmation.
