Online services enables you to manage your domain names in one single account. However, you may need to merge your accounts first in order to take advantage of this.
In order to ensure that the correct accounts are merged we have introduced the following tests that must be passed:
- Registrant name (Account name) must match or is similar
- The registrar / tag must match on each account
- You must be listed as a contact on each account with
If you wish to use different registrars for your domain names you will need to have separate accounts. This is because it would be confusing if a number of different registrars were able to update the same account. You need to have one account for each registrar that you have domain names with. There are several ways you can merge your accounts and these are:
- Through your registrar - Your registrar will be able to merge your accounts via our automated system.
- When logged in to one of your accounts, you can select 'Merge Accounts' - This facility will show you all available accounts you can choose to merge.
- When logged in to one of your accounts, you can select 'Use Confirmation of Registration letter' - this facility allows you to enter the domain name and security code found on your Confirmation of Registration letter to enable a merge.

My registrant (account) names are similar but they will not merge - why is this?A computer calculation is used to determine how similar registrant (account) names are. You will need to enter your account and amend the registrant (account) name to be exactly the same.
I am using the merge facility, but one of my accounts is not listed - why not?This could be for one of two reasons:
1. You are not listed as a contact on this account
2. You are a contact on the account but your email address or password maybe different.
If you are not listed as a contact you will need to contact your registrar or another contact on your account and ask them to add you. And if you are a contact but your email address or password is different, you will need to log into the account and amend these details.
