If the registrant of a domain name is a registered company and the name of the company changes, you will also need to notify us.

If you need to change the company name associated with your domain name registration, then you should do this through our Online Service.

All domain names have a Nominet account and you can amend your details using this Online Service.  Once you have changed the account name to reflect the change in company name, a member of staff will check the changes made and your account details will then be updated.

If the status of the registrant changes, for example the domain name is currently registered for a sole trader or partnership and you want the domain name to be registered to a limited or public limited company, please follow the instructions for transferring the registrant of your domain name.
