There are currently some registrations that have been made at the second level.
These are:
- bl.uk & british-library.uk for the British Library
- icnet.uk originally registered for the Imperial Cancer Relief Fund, now used by Cancer Research UK
- jet.uk originally registered for the Joint European Torus, now used by European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA)
- nls.uk for the National Library of Scotland
- parliament.uk for the House of Parliament
We regard these as registrations, not second level domains. They do not currently appear on the WHOIS. Please note that no new registrations at the second level will be accepted.
