You can use this form to start the policy process. We welcome policy issue proposals from all stakeholders. You can submit your proposal using this form, which will be sent directly to the Secretariat.

The Secretariat will then contact you to discuss your proposal in greater detail, and to help ascertain whether it is a policy issue. It will also be examined in the context of Nominet’s vision and mission. Following review, the Secretariat will advise you if or when your proposal will proceed to the next stage of canvassing further stakeholder feedback and the possible constitution of an issue group. The Secretariat will work with you to develop an issue brief to facilitate this process. The issue brief will be published on the Nominet website and be circulated by the Secretariat.

In some cases, there may be no interest expressed by stakeholders in pursuing an issue, and in these circumstances it is possible that the issue brief will not progress to the issue group stage.
