Following the recent Pre Budget Report issued by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the rate of VAT for standard rated supplies will return to 17.5% on 1 January 2010

All standard rated invoices issues on or after 1 January 2010 will apply VAT at the rate of 17.5%. The tax point date for the VAT invoice is the date on which the invoice is issued. This rule applies to the majority of our member and registrar fees.
