Following your
feedback on the
consultation on shaping the future of .uk, we are today presenting a number of
proposed changes to our constitution in the form of draft formal resolutions. We are seeking comments on the draft resolutions until 25 January after which we will present the final resolutions to our Members.
We would like to thank all those who have taken the time to respond to the consultation. Your input and feedback has really been appreciated and has helped shape the draft proposals we are presenting today.
If you wish to give any comments on this revised draft, please fill in the
feedback form or email us at:
egm@nominet.org.uk We will be inviting members to vote on the proposed new Articles ahead of an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), which is currently planned for 24 February 2010.
We remain proud of the reputation of .uk and of the UK domain name industry that has helped make .uk a leading force in the global Internet and we want it to continue to flourish.
Your support for these changes during February will be important.
