Trade organisations, blue chip companies and charities were among those recognised for their innovative and creative Internet projects at our Best Practice Challenge 2008 awards ceremony at the Science Museum last night.
The Best Practice Challenge was open to organisations, groups or individuals who have embraced the challenge of making the Internet a secure, open, accessible or diverse experience for all.
The categories and respective winners are:

The British Library - 'Sacred' web resources Full details of the winners, runners up and highly commended entries are available.
Winning entries will be promoted as demonstrations of best practice to industry, government, academia and in the media both in the UK and internationally. They will also be invited to take a leading role in the UK preparatory meeting for IGF India.
