(4) we agree to enter into an agreement with you.
The logo is currently available in portrait and landscape versions.
If you provide .uk domain names to the public or your customers, you must tell them that registration is subject to Nominet's Terms and Conditions. Our terms and conditions logo is a graphic providing a link to those terms and conditions. The terms and conditions logo is available to members and non-members.
How to apply
When your application has been conditionally accepted, we will send you a file containing the membership logo and guidelines for usage. We will check after 14 days to see that you are correctly displaying the logo.
Use of logo without a licence
If you do not have a licence you are only allowed to use the Nominet trade marks (i.e. the name NOMINET and the logo) in the ways permitted under the Trade Marks Act 1994. Naturally you should take your own legal advice on this matter, but essentially the Trade Marks Act 1994 allows you to refer to Nominet to explain who we are, what we do and the obligations that registrants enter into when they register a domain name with us etc. It does not allow you to use our name in your commercial activities, nor are you allowed to put our logo on your website or other printed matter.
Use of our corporate logo
The use of our corporate logo, trade mark applications numbers 2397385 and 2397386 are reserved exclusively for our own use.
Old membership logo
If you are currently using the old Nominet membership logo please remove it from your website or print materials and apply to use the new membership logo.
