UK ENUM Consortium (UKEC), the limited company set up with the recognition of the UK Government to administer the UK ENUM top level domain are launching a public consultation for one month to help ensure a successful ENUM implementation.

The documents UKEC are putting forward for consultation are 

• Registrar contract
• Lifecycle of an ENUM registrar
• Accreditation process
• Lifecycle of an ENUM registration
• ENUM EPP mapping

Together, these explain how a registrar can apply to and work with Nominet, in order to provide ENUM registration services and how ENUM registrations work. The ENUM EPP mapping document, contains the technical specification that describes how registrars will interact with Nominet to perform registrations, modifications and other database updates.

The consultation documents are available to read on UKEC's web site and they would really welcome your feedback using their online surveys. The deadline for feedback is 28 July 2008.
