UK ENUM Consortium (UKEC), the limited company set up with the recognition of the UK Government to administer the UK ENUM top level domain launched a public consultation in July 2008 for one month to help ensure a successful ENUM implementation.

The documents UKEC put forward for consultation were

• Registrar contract
• Lifecycle of an ENUM registrar
• Accreditation process
• Lifecycle of an ENUM registration
• ENUM EPP mapping

Together, these explain how a registrar can apply to and work with Nominet, in order to provide ENUM registration services and how ENUM registrations work. The ENUM EPP mapping document, contains the technical specification that describes how registrars will interact with Nominet to perform registrations, modifications and other database updates.

The deadline for feedback was 28 July 2008.
