Occupation: Solicitor with asb law

I am a Partner in asb law Solicitors and Head of the Technology, e-Commerce and Computer ("TeC") Team which consists of 7 Solicitors who specialise in all aspects of e-commerce law and intellectual property rights.

I am a litigation solicitor with many years experience of conducting High Court and County Court litigation, as well as taking cases to the Court of Appeal.

I specialise in all fields of intellectual property law including copyright, design right, trademark, patent and passing off claims. I have a particular interest in cases involving breach of confidentiality issues. I also have extensive experience of heavyweight and complex contractual disputes including those relating to the supply of software and maintenance systems. I have on many occasions advised clients in relation to e-commerce issues including domain name disputes, copyright issues on the internet and database rights.

I regularly lecture on e-commerce and intellectual property issues, particularly domain name disputes. I have also written articles on a variety of e-commerce and intellectual property issues and contributed a section on moral rights to the recently published book "E-Commerce from Cradle to Grave".

I am an accredited ADR Group Panel Mediator and have also represented clients at mediations.
