Set up specialist technology and intellectual property law firm. Work includes:

  • Domain name disputes: Advising on many domain name disputes including ICANN UDRP arbitrations.
  • Intellectual property disputes: Advising on trade mark and other intellectual property disputes.
  • Intellectual property contracts and advice: Advising on range of contracts including internet co-branding, terms and conditions, website hosting, publishing and TV production.

Selected as e-commerce expert in the 2000 and 2001 editions of Legal Experts (published by Legal Business).

Partner in Withers Litigation Department (30 lawyers) handling a wide range of litigation including: information technology (see above), intellectual property (passing off, trademarks, copyright and patents), defamation, contract, sale of goods, shareholders' disputes, competition law (in High Court, EU Commission and OFT) and professional negligence.
