If you are an ISP you may wish to become a Nominet registrar. Registrars register domain names with us on behalf of their customers. They use our automated registration systems to process large numbers of applications and to manage domain accounts. Only registrars that have signed up to our registrar contract are entitled to use these systems.
We work closely with our registrars, many of whom are members of Nominet, to help them get the most out of their relationship with us. We support our registrars to ensure that they can provide a good service to the people and organisations that wish to register domain names. We establish the ‘rules’ of working with us and good practice terms through a legal contract called the Registrar Agreement.
