Nominet Internet Awards Terms and conditions

Entries close at 23.59 (BST) on Thursday 28 April 2011.  Entries received after this time will not be accepted. 

There is no entry fee.

Entries must be submitted via our online entry form or on a hard copy entry form submitted by post or email (supplementary materials may be attached as a PDF). Once entries have closed, all submissions received will be treated as final and entrants will not be able to make any changes to them.

You may include tables, photographs and graphs to illustrate your points. You may provide additional materials to support your entry, which we will pass on to the judges in the event that you are shortlisted.  However, the judges are not obliged to take additional materials into account in their decision making.

By accepting your entry, we are not implying endorsement of your organisation,  products or services.

By submitting an entry, the party in whose name the entry is made agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. You must be authorised to enter your organisation into the Nominet Internet Awards.

It is your responsibility to provide the relevant information to support your entry and to ensure that the information you provide is accurate. Nominet will not check entries for accuracy. Entries will become the property of Nominet and will not be returned.  

There will be no feedback on entries which are not shortlisted.

One winner will be chosen from each category. Nominet and/or the judges may (but are not obliged to) consider entries in categories other than the one for which they have been entered.

Details of all winning entries will be included in a press release and copies will be made available to the media.

The judges' decision is final. There will be no appeals.

We reserve the right to audit any or all information supplied by you and you agree to assist us in any such audit in every way possible.

If you knowingly provide false information on your application we reserve the right to withdraw any award to you or your organisation, to publicise the withdrawal, and present the award to another applicant.

The Nominet Internet Awards are not open to:
  • any employees or directors of Nominet or the Nominet Trust; or
  • any of Nominet’s partner organisations in the Nominet Internet Awards or their employees or directors
Any individuals or organisations which Nominet believes, in its sole discretion, are connected with any of individuals or organisations listed in the two points above may not be permitted to enter either the Nominet Internet Awards as a whole, or one or more particular categories of the Awards (as determined at Nominet’s sole discretion).

Nominet reserves the right to reject any entry (or rescind an award) where it becomes aware of an ineligible entry.

Entry does not grant you rights to use Nominet's name or the Nominet Internet Awards logo or images without the express written approval of Nominet. Winners may be granted permission to use an Awards logo for a limited period to promote their achievement. The Awards name, logo, and images are property of Nominet.
