Given our role as the registry for .uk, our members' voting structure should inspire confidence, and support legitimacy, neutrality and transparency. We remain committed to ensuring that members' relative commercial involvement in the .uk domain service is fairly reflected in members' voting rights, whilst retaining the original vision that the company should not be open to capture. In response to a number of member comments regarding the current mechanism for calculating members' voting rights we are issuing a consultation paper to seek opinion on this matter.
The paper presents four possible options regarding members' voting rights, and we welcome your comments and feedback on those options.
The consultation period ran from 04 May 2006 to 05 June 2006.
