Following a review of the current .net.uk rules by the Policy Advisory Board's policy working group on .net.uk domain names, Nominet has produced a consultation paper on the topic. We are now seeking the views of wider stakeholder groups.
The .net.uk Second Level Domain (SLD) is currently reserved for domain used by Internet Service Providers. Nominet's Policy Advisory Board would like to know if you think this should remain the case, and if so, what rules should apply to .net.uk.
The consultation paper is available to download as a pdf file.
The consultation period runs from 19 December 2005 to 19 March 2006 and if you wish to send us a response to the consultation, please send an email to netuk-consultation@nominet.org.uk with the subject line 'netuk consultation'.
The consultation responses will be published below. However, we reserve the right to remove any materials which in our reasonable opinion are defamatory, offensive or unintelligible.
